[DISCLAIMER] Obsessive Social Media Disorder [OSMD] is not an actual disorder, but rather a term coined with inspiration from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder [OCD]. We created this term to describe an obsession and heavy reliance on social media, in an interesting way so as to capture people's attention. We are not health professionals and the solutions ("cure") are not to be treated as legitimate medical advice. However, we do hope it'll help teenagers break out of their social media obsession.
Introduction Welcome to the official website of Obsessive Social Media Disorder (OSMD). This website aims to educate people, especially teenagers, about social media obsession and hopefully help those who do have an obsession have a more positive change in their life.
In this website you will be going through a first person experience of teen's typing habits - think no capitalisation :). It will undoubtedly take some time getting used to, but it will allow you to understand social media from a teen's perspective.
